The Wonders of Active Isolated Stretching
Jul 23rd, 2010 by stopchasingpain
Dr. Perry Nickelston, DC, SFMA interviews AIS expert Marjorie Brook about the amazing benefits of active isolated stretching. Learn how it works, why it works, and where to learn it from one of the top experts in the world on this fantastic technique. It is my favorite form of stretching and I teach it to all of my patients, clients, and athletes. If you play sports and want to perform better, if you have chronic pain and want to feel better, if you want to lose weight and want to look better, then AIS is for you. Plus so much more...

AIS is a great modality for increasing range of motion after traumatic injury and/or surgery. It is painless but incredibly effective! I am amazed by the results Marjorie has gotten after only three sessions. She is a wonderful practitioner of AIS! No words can adequately express how great AIS and Marjorie are…just amazing!
I attended one of Marjories sessions in London with some other therapists that work with me. Marjories great way of teaching made the day one to remember. We have many succeses in clinic with Marjories AIS method

AIS has helped me and my clients tremendously. Since learning AIS I have taken some of Marjorie’s seminars. She has a unique way of making it all come together. Marjorie’s classes are educational, fun, informative and a must-take.
I am a pilates instructor and hosted a group seminar in my studio with other instructors. It was wonderful and I am looking forward to our next seminar. AIS is totally different and helps to increase range of motion. I have found it helps clients who come in with pain to do AIS stretches first. It is a great compliment to pilates and I highly recommend it for all pilates instructors. Marjorie is a wonderful teacher - Thanks Marjorie.
